First Year Academic 
Competitiveness Grant
(ACG)

 

First Year Academic Competitiveness Grants (ACG) provide additional funding to college freshmen receiving a Pell Grant who have completed a rigorous course of study in high school and have met other qualifying criteria.

This is a grant and does not need to be repaid.

Available to freshman pursuing their first undergraduate degree (not enrolled in a professional program)

Up to $750 for one academic year only.

12 or more credits per semester.
