Second Year Academic 
Competitiveness Grant
(ACG)

 

Second-year Academic Competitiveness Grants (ACG) provide additional funding to college sophomores receiving a Pell Grant who have completed a rigorous course of study in high school, earned at least a 3.0 GPA at the end of their freshman year, and have met other general qualifying criteria.

This is a grant and does not need to be repaid.

Available to sophomores pursuing their first undergraduate degree (not enrolled in a professional program)

Up to $1300 for one academic year only.

12 or more credits per semester.
