All domestic student-athletes are encouraged to file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for additional funding sources. Regardless of need, all students can qualify for non-need based Stafford Loans to assist in covering their educational costs. You can complete the FAFSA on their web site.
Student-Athletes need to apply for athletic summer funding through Academic Services in the Athletic Department.
Per NCAA rules, student-athletes are eligible for summer aid that is equivalent to their academic year athletics aid package. The award amount is based on each student-athletes summer enrollment (# of credits and weeks).
- To be considered for financial aid you must have a FAFSA on file for the 2010-2011 academic year.
- In addition, you must complete the Summer 2011 Financial Aid Application to be awarded financial aid.

Stipends are divided in 5 equal disbursements each semester. A student-athlete must be cleared per NCAA rules to receive such aid. Stipends are either mailed or directly deposited into the student-athlete's checking account. Per Federal and Institutional Policies, students cannot pick up checks. Students are highly encouraged to set-up "direct deposit" on their zzusis account to expedite the receipt of monthly stipends. To set up direct deposit, visit zzusis and click on the "finances" tab to enter your checking account information for processing.
