Employment Programs at
Washington State University
The Student Employment Center assists
students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience as
well as a practical means to contribute to the costs of their
education. Employment opportunities are provided for
students on and off campus, with and with out work-study awards
offered through the Office of Student Financial Aid.

Student Employment Opportunities
- Federal and State Work-Study is awarded
to eligible students based on FAFSA information. Work-Study
FAQs
- Work-study eligibility is for the term
award; it can't be carried over from a prior term.
- Students typically work 10 to 15 hours
per week and are paid by check or bi-monthly schedule.
- Students are eligible to work even if
they do not receive a work-study award or choose not to apply
for need-based federal financial aid.

employees to meet short-term and intermittent workload needs.
