To receive consideration for these awards please complete the WSU Academic Scholarship Application by the January 31st priority deadline.

Students that demonstrate outstanding leadership capabilities may be eligible for the Leadership Award, the Legacy Award, or the Lighty Leadership Award. Leadership may be demonstrated through community involvement, school activities, work responsibilities, and family commitments. The Legacy Award also requires that students have a family member (grandparent, parent, or sibling) that has graduated from WSU. Students must also have a minimum of a 3.3 high school GPA, be involved in leadership roles in school and/or community activities, meet the priority deadline for the WSU Academic Scholarship application, and be offered admission.
