Second Bachelor's Degree Student
Federal Stafford Loan Maximums 

Effective as of July 1, 2008

  • As a student pursuing a second bachelor's degree, you must have your academic advisor certify that you have 60 or more credits towards your new degree program in order to borrow at the junior or senior level. 

  • You will be sent a form requesting this information which you will need to give to your academic advisor to complete.

  • Until the completed form is received, we can not certify your loan at the junior or senior level of borrowing. 

  • Contact our office if you have questions.

Stafford Grade Level Definitions:

Freshman Students with 00-29 credit hours completed before the beginning of the term.
Sophomore Students with 30-59 credit hours completed before the beginning of the term.
Junior & Senior Students with 60 or more credit hours completed before the beginning of the term.
Dependent Student had to include parental income & signature in order to file the FAFSA.
